AEROSMITH Frontman To Be Presented With Platinum Award For 'You Gotta Move' DVD
January 3, 2005According to Film & Video Magazine, AEROSMITH frontman Steven Tyler will be presented with a platinum award for "You Gotta Move", the new AEROSMITH live DVD packaged with a bonus UmixIt track, at a special party at the Light Nightclub at the Bellagio Hotel on Thursday, January 6. UmixIt spokesperson Tyler will host the party, which will follow Intel CEO Craig Barrett's Keynote Address at the Las Vegas Hilton Theater to introduce the revolutionary new UmixIt enhanced CD and mixing platform.
With UmixIt, anybody with a PC can enjoy mixing and remixing music from their favorite artists. UmixIt provides an artist's music in multi-track format on an enhanced CD with an included virtual mixing board that allows you to raise and lower the volume of any instrument, mute and solo any instrument, add pre-loaded effects, create loops, and even record vocals or instruments. There is no additional software or set-up required. UmixIt is so easy to use that anybody can be instantly transformed into a real life mix master or recording engineer.
In this age of giving music fans more value for their money, UmixIt is bucking the online trend by creating a platform that lets users interact directly with the music as they hear it — something that digital download services cannot offer.
